Privacy policy

Effective October 1, 2026

This policy describes information handled through bradysewall.com, operated by Brady Sewall. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

Information you provide

If you email me, I receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. I use this information to respond, discuss potential work, and manage business relationships. Email is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to Gmail. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information in an initial inquiry.

Website delivery and security

GitHub Pages hosts this website, and Cloudflare provides DNS and, when enabled, proxy and security services. These providers may process IP addresses, request information, and technical logs to deliver and protect the site. Optional analytics choices do not disable information necessary for website delivery and security.

Website analytics

Google Tag Manager loads Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and interactions. For visitors whose IP-based country estimate is the United States, analytics are enabled by default unless a saved choice or browser privacy signal disables them. Elsewhere, or when the country cannot be determined, analytics stay off unless you explicitly enable them through “Privacy choices” in the footer. The country estimate comes from this website’s existing Cloudflare service; no browser location permission is requested. VPNs and inaccurate IP geolocation can affect the estimate.

Google Analytics may process device and browser information, page URLs, referral information, cookie identifiers, and interactions. I do not intentionally send names, email addresses, or inquiry contents to analytics. This site has no inquiry form, and Microsoft Clarity session recordings are not installed. Advertising consent, Google Signals, and advertising personalization are disabled by the site’s tracking configuration. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and policies. See Google’s privacy policy. Changes to tags or service settings may require updates to this policy.

Cookies, local storage, and your choices

The theme override and any explicit analytics choice are stored locally in your browser. Your analytics choice expires after 180 days, after which the regional default applies again. Google Analytics uses cookies when enabled. You can enable or disable analytics through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Disabling stops further analytics after the page reloads and attempts to remove this site’s analytics cookies; it does not erase previously collected data or cookies on other domains.

When your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, this website keeps optional analytics off, even if an earlier choice allowed it. Without JavaScript, optional analytics remain off. Local previews do not load analytics. Essential hosting and security processing may still occur.

Use, sharing, and retention

I use inquiries for communication and business purposes, and analytics to understand and improve this website. Information may be handled by the service providers described above or disclosed where required by law. Inquiry records are kept as needed for the business relationship and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Analytics retention is controlled by the Google Analytics service settings; this website does not specify a fixed deletion period for those services.

Privacy requests

You may contact me to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you provided, or to raise a privacy concern. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. Applicable rights depend on your location and the laws that cover this business. This website is intended for professional inquiries and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may change as the website or its data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
